:. ┼ke, Kajsa and Lukas came to visitEDITDELETE 2004-07-16
Lukas in Lailas arms

Today our good friends ┼ke and Kajsa with their baby boy Lukas came over on a visit. They stayed for dinner and we had a nice time, it is not as often we see each other as one would like. I was also very honored because they asked if I would like to be Lukas godfather which I of course accepted. A bit scary though... They will have the naming cermony in late August so we will be attending that.

:. Vacation trip to Ut÷EDITDELETE 2004-07-15
Cissi and me in a kajak

The weather in Sweden has not been great this summer and we have spent alot of days wondering if we should do something like going to the beach, but the weather has just not looked good enough. It is very hard to make any plans longer than a day or two ahead because it looks like it is going to be good for a week at first, then you wake up the next day and it is raining...

But after spending two weeks at home we finaly decided that we would do a trip to the Swedish archipelago and visit an island called Ut÷, which is one of the biggest islands. So we where there for four days trying out the hard camperlife, sleeping in a tent and making dinner with a Trangiaburner.

We actually did have a great time, doing some kajaking, bicycling and just relaxing. The weather was not as bad as on the mainland, but it still could have been much better. We manage to get some sun this vacation after all...
